Make a tiny application tracker.
Use a note or spreadsheet you already have. For each application, save:
- The employer, role, location and a link or copy of the listing.
- The date you applied and the contact you used.
- The latest update and any next step you agreed on.
Check what you can control.
- Confirm the email address and phone number on your application.
- Check your inbox, spam folder and voicemail at a time that suits your day.
- Reply to a genuine interview invitation with your availability and any questions about the meeting.
Pick one small action.
Choose a relevant role to read, improve one resume bullet, or practise one interview example. You do not need to overhaul everything today.
If an employer shared a reply timeline, use that to decide when to check in. Need words for the message? Use the follow-up template.
